Practicing Scales
The Classical Guitar Review site has a useful article about practicing scales. The idea is to have a purpose. If you've read the 7 Habits, the idea of start with the end in mind overlaps with this practice scheme. Often, we practice scales with the idea of warming up or knowing the pattern in mind. The article gives some nice suggestions to liven up your practice.
